CONVENTION PICTURES ONLINE

After returning from the State Convention in Broward County, we implemented some changes in our website to allow for a better display of pictures. The new feature allows viewers to scan thumbnails of the pictures and to look up close by clicking the picture.

Check out the pictures from the Convention. See how the Central Florida Chapter performed in the Volleyball Tournament, the Chapter Cheer Challenge, Toga Contest and see how much fun we had at the Gala Banquet.

CONSUMER GROUP ACORN MOVING TO ORLANDO

Consumer group ACORN is anxious to put mortgage brokers out of business. They want to restrict (especially Sub-prime) lending by limiting fees to 3%, outlawing prepayment penalties and other ideas that may sound great, but that will ultimately harm the consumer by raising prices and restricting competition.

Well, they're coming to town. They already have offices in Miami and St Pete, and according to an article in the latest issue of the Orlando Weekly, they have come to O-Town. Wonder when they will picket your office?

Our web site's Government section is designed to keep you informed about current news and to give you a resource for the who's who in government.
