FAMB Supports Small Business Health Plans |
Is health insurance becoming too costly for your business? Tell your
legislators small businesses MUST HAVE Small-Business Health Plans
(formerly known as AHPs) to be able to continue providing affordable
insurance to their employees.
Small-Business Health Plans would allow small businesses to band
together across state lines, through their membership in an
association, to purchase more affordable health insurance. Unions and
large corporations already have this ability; passage of Small Business
Health Plan legislation (H.R. 525 in the House, S. 406 in the Senate) would
level the playing field for small business.
Click on this link and utilize FAMB's grassroots action contact
feature to write an instant message to your US Congressman and the 2 US
Senators from Florida. (Mel Martinez is a sponsor of the Senate bill.)
Members enjoy many benefits with FAMB.
Discounts at the convention and other events, free continuing education, access
to many group rates on insurance, overnights, pre-paid legal. If you're not a
