NAMB PRESIDENT A.W. PICKEL, III ON FEBRUARY 10
|
The President of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) will be our guest speaker at the February 10th monthly meeting. Mr. Pickel will bring us up to date on the Federal issues that affect our mortgage industry, including an update on the status of HUD RESPA Reform and what changes we can expect.
Over a month has past since the US Department of HUD sent the final rule reforming RESPA to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review before publishing the rule in the Federal Register and putting it into effect. While nothing has changed, as the rule is concerned, there is action you can take.
Martin Frost, a Congressman from Texas sent a letter to HUD asking them to hold off on issuing the rule. Forward this letter to your congressman and ask them to make the same request of HUD.

ARE YOU READY FOR AN AUDIT?

Get 3 hours of continuing education and keep your self in compliance. Whether you are a business owner, a licensed mortgage broker, a loan officer, a wholesaler, or a title agent, this information is important to your business and livelihood.
